Pilot season starts AGAIN early this year! and we are pleased to announce this year's contenders: "Danny Lewinski" CBS, "Mann's World" NBC, and shot in Orlando, FL: "Big Mike" for A&E Networks. The 3D Mike team is honored to be part of these amazing production and creative teams!!

AUG 2010: 3D MIKE HIRED FOR INDI FEATURE 'THE GOOD DOCTOR'! With Orlando Bloom as Producer, 3D Mike Entertainment is once again called upon to provide its 20 years of medical show experience in animation and equipment as it relates to the medical field.

JUL 2010: 3D MIKE GOES 'UNDERCOVERS'! After successfully completing the NBC TV pilot 'Undercovers', 3D Mike is brought on board as playback operator and equipment supplier, in cooperation with Symbient, who provides all animation sequences for playback and visual effects for the pilot and the first season. 3D Mike is highly honored to be working once again side by side with the amazing Symbient animation team!

JAN 2010: PILOT SEASON 2010! Pilot season starts early this year! off the ground early in January 3D Mike is contracted to do 4 pilots so far. 'Edgar Floats' for ABC, 'Undercovers' by NBC, 'Off the Map' for ABC, and 'The Pink House' NBC. Even though only one pilot was ultimately picked up, Undercovers NBC, we proudly completed all pilots with much success and continued expanding our client base.

JUL 2009: 'MAKE IT OR BREAK IT' SEASON ONE: 3D Mike Entertainment is providing all playback equipment, animations and personnel for the hit ABC Family Channel teen shot 'Make it or Break it'. Shot at Santa Clarita Studios, the show follows the lives of teenage gymastics stars as they participate in national competitions, olympics qualifiers, as well as their daily life in high school and withing their families. As teenagers text and message eachother more and more, TV shows now include texting regularly as part of the character's actions, and 3D Mike creates amazing texting sequences that are an intricate part of the story line. As the teams compete, 3D Mike creates realistic gymnastics score boards, judges' laptops with scoring software, iPads, and many other peripheral equipment, programming included!

MAY 2009: 3D MIKE CONTRACTED FOR THE 1ST SEASON OF 'THREE RIVERS' TO BE SHOT AT PARAMOUNT STUDIOS, HOLLYWOOD After successfuly completing the TV pilot of 'Three Rivers' in Pittsburgh, PA, 3D Mike Entertainment is contracted for the entire first season of Three Rivers to provide playback and equipment for the 100 + LCD screen sets. The high tech set of Three Rivers Hospital, a hospital in Pittsburgh dedicated to organ trasplant and post transplant treatment, is spread out amont 3 stages at the Paramount Studios Hollywood lot and is comprised of a major bullpen containing over 100 large LCD screens, including a monster 105" LCD display, a state of the art Emergency bay, 3 of the most advanced Operating Rooms with multiple LCD screens and live video cameras, additionally there are multiple location protraying older looking hospitals. FEB 2009: PILOT SEASON 2009! 3D Mike Entertainment completes various pilots this season, one of which 'Three Rivers' was picked up by CBS for one season. After completing the Three Rivers pilot, filmed in Pittsburgh, PA during march and april 2009, 3D Mike Entertainment was contracted for the entire first season of Three Rivers to provide playback and equipment for the 100 + LCD screen sets.

OCT 2008: 3D MIKE COMPLETES ANIMATION WORK ON FEATURE FILM 'OVERNIGHT' STARRING ANTHONY LAPAGGLIA, which takes place mostly inside a Boeing 767 as the story unfolds throughout this comedic overnight flight. The entire cockpit was built from scratch to resemble a real 767 cockpit and our 'aircraft savvy' crew recreated the cockpit panel with all its bells and whistles!

Inside the exact replica body of the 767, provided by "Jets & Props" (Hollywood's premier prop airplane rental house), 3D Mike Entertainment technicians built realistic animations that lit up the cockpit panel with altitude and horizontal meters, engine diagnostics as well as wing and flap indicators. These meters adjusted according to the location and position of the airplane throughout the flight and throughout the film.

The photos to the right show the exterior of the mock-up aircraft with the video station situated outside the cockpit area.

The external video station contains computers which run the animations seen inside the cockpit panels. Sometimes visual 'trickery' is required to make the gag work, in this case, you can notice how the animations at the video station are 'upside-down' or vertically inverted, yet inside the cockpit the animations look normal.

This image 'inversion' was necessary to compensate for the cockpit LCD screens (the actual hardware located behind the cockpit panel) which had to be installed upside down because it was the only way to fit them properly into the casing. It's OK!! That's how the film industry works, and we are always ready to do whatever it takes to make things 'work'!.

SEPT 2008: 3D MIKE COMPLETES 'BANK OF AMERICA' COMMERCIAL SERIES: For the 11th year in a row 3D Mike Entertainment Inc. completes another series of successful Bank of America Commercials in Los Angeles and New York.

Online Banking Screens, ATM Machines, and In-Bank Teller Stations were custom created for the series and operated by our highly trained Union Engineers on both coasts.
